The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one.” We cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ. The penalty for sin is death, but instead of giving that death to us, Jesus suffered death for us that we might be forgiven by God. The Bible tells us that “God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it. The Bible tells us, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him. When we confess and repent, we are agreeing with God that we need His grace and forgiveness in our lives. Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . .”
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10
The church isn’t the building we worship in. It is us. It is me and you. We are the church. Everyone is welcome. We want to create a space where you can come and encounter Jesus. Jesus changes everything for everyone.
